A United States Marine Corp veteran, Darian was born and raised in Oklahoma on a cattle ranch. He is an NRA certified Basic Pistol instructor and North Carolina DOJ CCH instructor. He was introduced to firearms when his parents bought his first firearm at age seven and taught him respect for firearms and how to hunt. After his family moved to North Carolina in the late 1980’s, he was a member of the sport shooting teams in high school (skeet and rim fire), and later a member of the volunteer fire department for 10 years. He is a husband and father of three children who have been taught how to respect and shoot firearms. He likes recreational shooting with his immediate family both at the range shooting handguns, as well as skeet/ clay shooting at one of the local venues. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of firearms with others, helping them be more comfortable around firearms.
