Every family has the right to be protected, regardless of what yours may look like. A firearm and a concealed carry permit are the best way to keep you and your family safe. The 2nd Amendment is a fundamental right belonging to everyone in this country that allows you, no matter who you are, to exercise your right to bear arms. Legal Heat is a proud supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and believes everyone has the right to responsibly train and educate themselves on firearm safety and protection. As the nation's largest firearms training company, we welcome all individuals who want to join our family so they can protect theirs.
Legal Heat’s Handguns 101 class covers firearms safety, handgun types and handling, firearms terminology, basic operation, transportation, firearms storage, and much more. This course is designed for the student new to firearms, that wants to learn in a friendly, comfortable, non- intimidating environment from Legal Heat’s knowledgeable instructors that can help you take that first step in the world of firearms. This limited-time course will also feature a U.S. LawShield® Independent Program Attorney for a discussion on topics such as: the Castle Doctrine, the justified use of deadly force, where you can legally carry, what to expect when law enforcement arrives, and much more. This class will arm you with knowledge to help keep you safe and on the right side of the law.
All students will be able to apply 100% of course fees to a future Florida Concealed Weapons Class that meets and exceeds the education requirements to apply for your Florida home state license (CWFL). This concealed carry permit will allow carry in approximately 37 states.
Legal Heat’s firearm training instructors are all insured and are either NRA certified, Utah BCI certified or certified through another nationally certifying entity, and are among the most highly experienced in the industry.

2. Who Is Legal Heat?
Simply put, Legal Heat is the nation’s largest provider of concealed firearm permit training. What started as a single training location in Utah over a decade ago, has grown to nearly 200 locations in over 30 states today.
