Yes. Washington Initiative 1639 and Wash. Rev. Code Ann. §9.41.090 provide the requirements for what must be taught in the 1639 course, as well as who must instruct the course. This course has been specifically designed by a nationally recognized firearm law attorney, and former Washington State prosecutor (under Rule 9), to comply with all of the legally mandated training requirements. The law does not specify how the training must be transmitted (either in-person or online), so Legal Heat has designed courses for both formats. Since November 9, 2018, our attorneys have been in contact with the Washington Department of Licensing regarding our I-1639 in-person and online training courses. We are so confident in our training that we requested a formal review and approval, but unfortunately, the Department of Licensing does not offer that service. They did not, however, voice any objections to our online or in-person courses. In the past year, thousands of students have completed this online 1639 course and used it to purchase semi-auto rifles in Washington.
