Michael has over 35 years of firearms experience, training and instruction. He retired after 21 years as a United States Army combat veteran, and served as a Military Policeman, Drill Instructor, Special Reaction Team Sergeant, Combative Instructor and more. After retirement, he served as a federal contractor for the United States Air Force, conducting pre-deployment training. Shortly after, Michael joined the Department of Homeland Security where he continues to serve as a federal employee. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration, Michael pursued nationally recognized firearms certifications to become a firearms instructor. He is a certified firearms instructor through the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), National Rifle Association (NRA) and United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA). Michael is also a certified instructor in a wide array of personal safety training areas such as SABRE (Pepper Spray) Personal Safety Academy (PSA), Countering the Mass Shooter Threat and Refuse To Be A Victim (RTBAV), to name a few. Michael currently lives in Texas with his wife and two daughters.
