Yonty lives in Central, Oregon and served 10 years with the United States Army attached to the 162nd Air Defense Artillery Unit. He has more than 22 years experience as a firearms safety instructor, Oregon and Utah Concealed handgun licensed instructor and certified law enforcement instructor. He currently serves as a deputy sheriff in the state of Oregon. Additional work experience includes 20 years as an Oregon and Washington State Paramedic, as well as Flight Paramedic and Paramedic Field Training Officer. He has received extensive training in Executive Protection and spent 21 years as an Oregon and Washington State Criminal/Civil Investigator. Yonty’s other military experience includes working for the Oregon National Guard Combat Support Unit where he was also a training instructor for the Stinger and Redeye portable air defense system. For his dedicated service as a training NCO, defense tactics instructor and air defense training instructor, he was awarded “Soldier the Year” and also received the United States Army Commendation medal for “Outstanding Soldier”
